Honest Review of House of TBH – HUKUM, DARIYA & DARBAR

I was honestly a bit skeptical before buying HUKUM because there were only one or two review videos on YouTube, and I didn’t find them convincing enough. I usually don’t write reviews, but after trying these perfumes, I genuinely felt they deserved one.

HUKUM

After using HUKUM, I can confidently say it was absolutely worth it. The opening pineapple note is simply amazing—fresh, juicy, and incredibly pleasant. It immediately grabs your attention and gives the fragrance a premium feel. As it settles down, it becomes even more refined while maintaining its unique character. This has easily become one of my favorite fragrances.

DARIYA

DARIYA is another excellent perfume. The initial burst of blackcurrant is what I love the most—it feels rich, fruity, and extremely well blended. The fragrance smells elegant throughout its wear and is something you can wear confidently on almost any occasion. Overall, it’s a beautifully crafted perfume.

DARBAR (Free Sample)

I also received a free sample of DARBAR, and I was pleasantly surprised. It’s a warmer and slightly sweeter fragrance compared to the other two, but the scent profile is genuinely outstanding. The best way I can describe it is that it smells like walking into a luxurious five-star hotel lobby or premium hotel room—classy, comforting, and sophisticated.

Performance

The performance of these perfumes is impressive. I only used 1–2 sprays, and they easily lasted 5–6 hours on me. That’s excellent considering such a small number of sprays.

The projection is moderate, which is completely understandable because these are Extrait de Parfum concentrations. Extraits generally contain less alcohol than EDPs, so they project a little less while lasting longer. That said, the projection is still very good. If you enter a room or classroom, people around you will definitely notice your fragrance for the first couple of hours.

Customer Experience

What impressed me just as much as the perfumes was the customer service. During my purchase, I had a conversation with one of the founders, and I must say they are an absolute gem. I was genuinely shocked when I messaged them on WhatsApp at around 3:15 AM, expecting a reply the next day—but they responded almost immediately and patiently cleared all my doubts. That level of dedication and commitment to customers is truly rare these days. 👏👏👏

Final Verdict

I am 100% satisfied with my purchase. House of TBH has delivered excellent quality fragrances with impressive performance and outstanding customer support. If you’re unsure about buying a full bottle, I’d highly recommend starting with their testers. Hi Team, I am disappointed by the perfume. I own almost 33 perfumes and i have been collecting from last 2-3 years. I am disappointed with your perfume because there is only one note which is Pineapple and it is dominant throughout, i didn’t feel any transition in perfume. Also the projection and longevity is very poor. After spraying it on skin it lasts for 1-2 hrs and on clothes 3-4 hours max. The projection is so poor that after spraying the perfume it’s barely noticeable after 1 hour. I didn’t not get nose blind because i have tested in different scenarios and with my friend as well. So i am really disappointed. The packaging and bottle is really nice i wish you could improve the projection and longevity.

I really loved HUKUM! The fruity notes with a hint of sweetness are perfectly done such that it's not overwhelming but has a commanding presence. The transition into mildly sweet, musky, ambery notes, then into an almost floral woodiness on the drydown is really addictive. I kept getting subtle whiffs of it all day and could smell it on my clothes the next day. Overall, absolute value for money.

Also, got to try a surprise sample of unreleased 'SHARMILI' - what I felt: litchi/fruity + white florals, settles into a toffee-like scent. Absolutely gorgeous. Can see people really liking it, although it is more subtle than Hukum (maybe it's just me).

I suggested some improvements to the founders and they responded positively. Looking forward to buying more!

Strong opening with a refined dry-down. Long-lasting and perfect if you want to stand out.

Nice, clean fragrance that’s easy to wear daily. Not overpowering and lasts well.

Good quality for the price. Smells rich but not overwhelming. The caramel note is noticeable and nice. Overall, a solid everyday perfume if you like slightly sweet scents.

Honestly, this smells really good. It starts a bit fresh but quickly becomes warm and kind of powerful. The sweet + smoky combo is addictive, and it lasts the whole day on me.

The atomiser of the bottle I recieved is faulty but Daman has already arranged for an exchange so I'm grateful for that. Coming to the perfume, from what could smell it's really different and awesome. Can't wait to get a working bottle and start using it.

Hello Daman and Kavya. I ordered Hukum and Mahroon. I tried Hukum for couple of days. What i found is that it has Pineapple dominantly and more or less that’s it. It stays almost the same. The Pineapple’s smell is great. It can be a bit lighter though. But i was also expecting some beginning, middle and end like a film story. As a story it began like ‘there was an amazing juicy Pineapple.’ Then.? ‘And that’s it, that’s the story’ it felt like this if i may put it like this. So i have Mont Blanc Explorer which is relatively a weaker perfume, it doesn’t last that long. Also i have clone of Hacivat from some indian house, i combine Hukum with them. Just a spray or 2 and Pineapple smell is extended and enhanced with them. I am expecting the Hukum 2.0 with more details and complexity which doesn’t feel complex while using. A smooth ride from 1 place to another yet the user doesn’t realise when they reached the other side. Maheoon i tried once but it’s too flowery and feminine so i don’t have a review on it. But i was and i am excited to see a house which is putting in efforts to do something worthwile and not putting out 100s of options but just sticking to few and trying to make them perfect. Amazing master piece created

After trying HUKUM, I can confidently say it was totally worth it. The opening pineapple note is amazing, and as it dries down, it develops into a rich dark woody fragrance while still retaining that pineapple character in the background. It's a very well-balanced scent.

The longevity and projection are excellent for the price. The fragrance stayed on my clothes throughout the day, which really impressed me. I also had a few questions before ordering and reached out to Daman on WhatsApp. He was very quick to respond, extremely helpful, and made me feel confident about my purchase.

I loved HUKUM so much that I've already placed another order for the HUKUM + Mahroon combo so I can have an extra bottle of HUKUM while also trying Mahroon. Looking forward to it!

As a fragrance enthusiast who enjoys exploring Indian perfume houses, I'm genuinely surprised there aren't more reviews of HUKUM on YouTube. I don't know why the fragrance community hasn't talked about it more because, in this price range, it is a very impressive product. I'm so happy with my purchase that I might even make a review video myself to help others decide whether it's worth buying.
